Korea's Government Ethics Committee disclosed assets of senior officials appointed or promoted between Jan 2 and Feb 1, 2026.
Prosecutor Lee Jung-ryul reported the highest amount: 8.7 billion won (approx. $7.5 million). His assets include real estate and financial holdings.
Hong Ik-pyo, senior presidential secretary for political affairs, reported 3.2 billion won ($2.7 million). Other officials averaged 1.5 billion won.
The disclosure is part of Korea's mandatory asset reporting system for high-ranking public officials to ensure transparency and prevent corruption.
