Choi Yoon, chairman of OK Financial Group, has proposed six major reforms for Korean professional volleyball, warning that without change, the sport faces mutual destruction.

The proposals include expanding weekend games and foreign player quotas, introducing a salary cap, and adopting Hawk-Eye technology for officiating.

Choi noted that while baseball, football, and basketball have rebounded, volleyball has declined in attendance and viewership, with the national team suffering international losses.

According to Chosun, Choi urged the next KOVO leadership to act decisively, stating, 'If we don't change now, we will all perish together.'

The reforms aim to boost competitiveness and fan engagement, with a detailed roadmap presented to the league's executive board.
