Kim Ki-min, principal dancer at Russia's Mariinsky Ballet, will perform as a guest with Béjart Ballet Lausanne in Seoul. Shows run April 23-26 at GS Art Center.

"I was so nervous I couldn't sleep on the plane," Kim said. "I'm thrilled to perform my dream piece, 'Boléro,' for a Korean audience."

According to Khan, Kim revealed he memorized the entire 'Boléro' score to master the choreography. He last performed in Korea in 2022.

The BBL program also features ballerina Lee Min-kyung in 'Hamlet.' Artistic director expressed emotion about returning to Korea.

Kim Ki-min, a Korean-born star at one of the world's top ballet companies, returns for a limited Seoul engagement this week.

Tickets for the Béjart Ballet Lausanne Seoul performances are available now. The run includes 'Boléro' and other signature works.
