Tottenham and South Korea captain Son Heung-min, 34, has canceled all commercial filming to focus entirely on the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which he has called his 'last dance.'
According to Chosun, Gatorade Korea announced on April 22 that Son's promotional shoots were halted to allow him to dedicate full energy to training for the tournament in North America.
Son currently plays for LAFC in MLS. The decision underscores his commitment to leading Korea in what is expected to be his final World Cup appearance.
A statement from Gatorade Korea read: 'Sports history is made with sweat. So for a new chapter in football, Son Heung-min will focus on training.'
The 2026 World Cup kicks off in June. Son has 48 goals in 128 caps for South Korea and is the nation's all-time leading scorer.
Fans can expect Son to be in peak form as he prioritizes national team duty over commercial obligations.
